Atlanta, GA — The African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA) proudly announces that Grammy nominated artist, New York Times best-selling author and entrepreneur, Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins will serve as the Honorary Host Committee Chair for the 2026 Flowers x Seeds Gala, heralding a new chapter of cultural convergence in Atlanta’s vibrant art scene. Mr. Jenkins role with ADAMA’s Flowers x Seeds underscores the expanding dialogue between visual art and broader cultural currents. As a respected figure whose cultural influence spans music, entrepreneurship, and community activism, Jeezy’s new role reflects a shift in Atlanta’s cultural landscape—one where cross-industry leadership shapes the future of Black art institutions.
“Flowers x Seeds has always been about honoring legacy while investing in the future,” said ADAMA Founder Dr. Fahamu Pecou.
“Bringing Jeezy into our ecosystem reflects how cultural leadership today isn’t confined to one discipline. It’s about how we collectively shape a more dynamic, inclusive arts landscape.”
The Flowers x Seeds Gala, ADAMA’s annual signature fundraising event, supports exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives that center the global African Diaspora. The 2026 gala will take place on February 21, 2026, at The Nia Building at Pittsburgh Yards, and forthcoming announcements will include this year’s honorees and full programming details. As always, the event will serve as both a celebration and catalyst—where culture, creativity, and community converge.
